Late news from August was that a Barn Owl was seen on 30th August.

1 Grey Heron

Little Egret, has been scarcer this year, so nice to see one back.

16 Little Egrets were seen to leave their roost in the North Pool.

Cetti’s warblers have started singing again.

1 Grey Heron, 40 Mallard, 1 Moorhen, 1 Swallow, 10 House Martin, 1 Willow Tit, 24 Rooks (flying over), 3 Goldfinches & 1 Fox.

1 Raven, 1 Buzzard & 4 Swallows were all seen over the quarry.

We have at least three hedgehogs living in our garden.

Some summer migrants still around which includes Reed Warbler.
