Wildlife Watch is the club for you!

Wildlife Watch is the junior membership branch of The Wildlife Trusts. You can join for just £17 a year. Your money will help us look after wildlife and wild places near you.

What you get

With Wildlife Watch you'll get loads of goodies - when you join you get a pack with badges, stickers and a pocket guide. You'll also get regular magazines full of wildlife stories, craft activities for you to try and lots more. There are also lots of fantastic online resources for you to download and get involved with.

Derbyshire's Wildlife Watch groups...

Matlock Bath

Come along for some wild fun at the Whistlestop Watch Group based in Matlock Bath. A mix of outdoor activities around central and north-east Derbyshire and indoor sessions at the Whistlestop Discovery Centre on Matlock Bath railway station.

Happening on the second Sunday of each month from 10am - 12pm. 

Each month there will be a different exciting wildlife theme.

Each session is aimed at children aged 5 years and above, and they must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost is £2.50 per child and 50p for any additional siblings.

Rosliston

Rosliston Wildlife Watch Group is run by South Derbyshire District Council in partnership with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.

We usually meet on Tuesdays during school holidays at Rosliston Forestry Centre 2pm - 4pm but times can vary.

Activities are aimed at children and young people up to 14 years old and include minibeast safaris, nature walks, pond dipping.  Children must be supervised by an Adult.

Cost is £2.50 per child per session.

Watch Groups are open to everyone so you don't need to be a member, but if you are you will also receive newsletters and updates on other family-friendly events being organised by the Trust.
