An evening visit revealed the following sightings on the reserve, 4 adult Canada Geese + broods of 3yg +4yg, 4 Gadwall (2m+2f), 13 Mallard (12m+1f), 1 Kestrel, 2 Moorhen, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Lapwing, 4 Swift, 4 Sand Martin, 2 Swallow, 10 House Martin, 5 Pied Wagtail, 1 Reed Warbler (singing), 1 Whitethroat (singing), 7 Long-Tailed Tit, 2 Magpie, 2 Carrion Crow, 2 Goldfinch, 2 Linnet, 2 Yellowhammer (1 singing) & 2 Reed Bunting (males). A Dingy Skipper butterfly also noted.
