The 31st May was the quietest day of the week but we still had four Teal (three male), the four LRP, 50 Herring Gulls, Hobby and Peregrine. Which brings me to 1st June when the most unexpected sighting was a female Stonechat, a very abnormal record indeed. Also present were a drake Teal, Ringed Plover, two LTP and the Peregrine. Water Rails by the way a heard calling daily.
