Birdholme Marsh is the area just south of Birdholme Pond. Noted on the Marsh area this morning (11th) were 1 Grey Heron, 1 Moorhen, 187 Woodpigeon, 2 Magpie & 2 Carrion Crows.
5 Skylark (1 singing briefly) were seen nearby on rough grassland just south of the Flood Prevention Bank at Grid Ref SK 388685 formerly part of the Avenue Coking Works site.
