DRAKELOW NATURE RESERVE: Monday 27th January 2020. Further to my blog for W/E 26th January. The flood pool has increased in depth to ten inches due to yesterday’s rain. On the reserve the path to the Scott’s hide is still under water and the path from the North hide back to the CP, although clear of water, is very muddy and slippery. Similarly, the path to the two man hide is very muddy. On the Main Lagoon the Long-tailed Duck was present together with eight Goldeneyes, 30 Shovelers, 30 Mallards and six Greylags.
