The 19th was a good morning with four groups of Whooper Swans (totalling 26) logged.

Two more colour ringed Black-headed Gulls have been seen during the week.

A barn owl was spotted in WInster.

On 12th I concentrated on counting gulls flying north.

A grey Heron noted on the reserve this afternoon.

A singing Cetti's Warbler (first time song heard this year).

29 Yellowhammers were counted leaving the allotments, where they feed in the chicken pens, to roost somewhere south-east of the recording area.

63 Pied Wagtails and the Siberian Chiffchaff was seen again
