The Algarve in southern Portugal, probably best known as a sunshine holiday destination, also boasts a wide variety of birds and other wildlife. This illustrated talk describes many of the birds seen on a recent birdwatching tour in the region, some of which will be familiar to us in the UK, while others are more local specialities.
