We did it!

Raise £126,000 for land

You've raised £126,000 to secure land for wildlife, thank you!

We can't wait to turn this piece of land into an oasis for wildlife and you.

The Trust has secured the purchase of an area of land with huge potential benefits to local wildlife.

Thanks to you, we raised £126,000, in just 8 weeks!

This land will extend an existing nature reserve; Rose End Meadows, in Cromford, and allow the reserve to connect directly into the wider landscape.

Our vision is a future where wildlife thrives across the landscape and is not confined to small nature reserves.

Now we will own the site, it means a 200-acre area for wildlife will be created by providing a key stepping stone to link together a number of sites. Our goal is to ensure at least 33% of Derbyshire is good for wildlife by 2030 by reconnecting and restoring land, thanks to you we are edging closer to this goal.

As well as connecting areas for wildlife, the land will enable better access for people via circular walks and footpaths across a wide area, and it will be easily accessible from the High Peak Trail.

If you would still like to donate to the Trust to help us with our work, you can do so below, thank you 🧡🌳.
