We want to say a huge thank you to the local communities and customers who have welcomed us onto their high streets and supported us over the years.

We also want to say how grateful we are to our staff and volunteers. Our teams have worked hard to increase awareness of our work to restore nature and to raise vital funds to help us carry out this important work.

This decision has not been taken lightly; our shops have had a huge impact on our work and provided ways for communities to get even more involved in nature’s recovery, but the challenging times our shops faced during lockdown, coupled with the current financial crisis and rising costs, have forced us to close.

Our Belper shop will close at the end of May and our Bakewell shop will remain open until the end of September.

We will keep fighting for nature’s recovery and pushing for a wilder, greener Derbyshire. Thank you all for your continued support.
