Guided canoe trip, walking boots and vintage afternoon tea are just some of the prizes on offer in a wild raffle being run by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
The conservation charity has launched the raffle to help raise funds for local wildlife, to help reverse the 50% decline in nature recently reported.
Jane Proctor, at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, explained “Nature is in trouble and we’re doing everything we can to help. But in order to do more, we need extra funds. This raffle is a really easy way for you to play your part in supporting our work – whilst having the chance to win some fun prizes at the same time. It’s win – win.”
There are some fantastic prizes to be won, with the top prize being a one off opportunity to spend a day with one of the Trust’s badger vaccinator team to get an insight into the important work the Trust is doing to protect badgers against the cull.
Other prizes include a day out with a Derbyshire Wildlife Trust ranger, a canoe trip along one of Derbyshire’s rivers, two family zip wire experiences at Mount Cook Adventure Centre, a pair of Rockfall Grisport Fuse walking boots, family passes to Pooles Cavern, Renishaw Hall, Crich Tramway Village, & Treak Cliff Cavern, a vintage afternoon tea for two at Horsley Lodge and a Weleda gift set.
Tickets can be purchased at https://wilddraw.zaffo.com/ at just £1 each and the closing date is Sunday 31st March. For more information call the Trust on 01773 881188.
