A Little Egret on the Reedbed Pond was a nice surprise this morning (17th). Also noted on the reserve were 1 Little Grebe, 2 Grey Heron, 15 Canada Geese + 2 Hybrids (Canada x Barnacle), 5 Gadwall, 3 Mallard, 2 Tufted Duck (males), 2 Moorhen, 2 Coot, 11 Snipe, 3 Black-Headed Gull (landed), 2 Meadow Pipit, 4 Long-Tailed Tit, 1 Greenfinch, 7 Goldfinch & 3 Carrion Crows.
