Restore Nature Now

March with us in London

Join us

The natural world is in trouble and politicians need to take action

Join us, alongside thousands of others, on the streets of London and call on ALL political parties to take action for nature's recovery.

For too long, the stories of wildlife loss and climate graphs going in the wrong direction have been headlines. This is the turning point.

Join us!

We are inviting all our members, supporters, staff, volunteers, Trustees, partners and friends to this major event. We would love to have you there with us!

The event is organised by nature, wildlife, environment and climate organisations and individuals, including our friends at Wildlife and Countryside Link, RSPB, Woodland Trust, National Trust and Rewilding Britain and key partners, Extinction Rebellion.  Take a look at all of the supporting organisations who have signed up to take part here.

We may choose different ways to achieve our aims, but we share common goals - we will all be joining together to celebrate nature and to make this simple demand of our current and future decision-makers: Restore Nature Now.

When, where and how to get there:

Restore Nature Now will take place in central London on Saturday 22nd June.

We are providing two coaches, one from the DWT offices in Middleton and one from Down To Earth Community Garden in Derby.

  • 8 am meet at either location (details in ticket links)
  • 8.15am  planned coach departure
  • Midday expected arrival London
  • Between midday and 1pm we will join the walk from Park Lane. This will be a slow paced walk covering less than 2 miles and should take around an hour
  • 2.30pm the walk will end at Parliament Square where there will be a central ‘rally’ with some well-known names and faces speaking to marchers about the changes we need to finally turn the tide for the environment and Restore Nature Now!
  • 4 pm meet back at the coach
  • 8 pm expected arrival back to Middleton/Derby

Bring your noise-makers, wildlife costumes, placards and banners! Let us make this a march for nature to remember.

People understand the seriousness of the nature crisis and demand that elected officials do the same. Nature charities are backed by millions of supporters and this event will see many of these as well as our volunteers and anyone who cares about nature taking a collective stand.

Standing up for wildlife during the General Election

The upcoming UK General Election is an incredibly important moment for wildlife and wild spaces across the UK, and beyond. The UK is already classified as one of the world’s most nature-depleted countries and an incoming government will be responsible for turning this around. You can ensure that nature is given the priority it deserves.
