Wild Peak at Rock Mill Lane

Wild Peak

Wild Peak at the Rock Mill Centre

Wild Peak is Derbyshire Wildlife Trust's rewilding initiative for the Peak District. Wild Peak brings together landowners, community groups and inspired individuals to act for nature. By creating a network of people, Wild Peak aims to raise awareness of the benefits that a wilder landscape could bring, and what changes we can all make to work towards that. A wilder landscape would bring natural flood management, cleaner air and water, improved biodiversity, wellbeing through nature connection and truly sustainable businesses. A Wild Peak would not just bring benefits for communities in the Peak District National Park but also those in the surrounding towns and cities who don't have as much green space on their doorstep but can travel into the National Park for a true experience of wildlife.
